It may be called the coldest spot in the nation, but “Cut Bank” serves as a setting for a good thriller mystery movie.

Director Matt Shakman channeled certain aspects of humor and mystery of “Fargo” in this film as a sheriff investigates a supposed murder in this small town in Montana. The movie introduced memorable quirky characters with a well-rounded cast that included Liam Hemsworth, Teresa Palmer, Billy Bob Thornton, John Malkovich, Bruce Dern, Oliver Platt and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Latino-Review caught up with actors Bruce Dern and Oliver Platt on the red carpet before the premiere at theLos Angeles Film Festival last week. In addition, we also talked with Shakman on the red carpet.
