Our very own Edward Douglas was able to catch an advanced viewing of Logan, and according to his review, it is fantastic. One thing that I did wonder, were how the post-credit scenes would be done, and if there were any at all. The critics did not get to witness any bonus scene but Steve "Frosty" Weintraub at Collider is not only giving our Joseph "Jammer" Medina a run for his nickname, but he also has confirmed that there will be a post-credit scene at some point during the credits.
"While the version of the film screened for critics had no such thing, over the past few days word has begun to spread that Logan might have a scene added after the credits when it hits theaters. Forget about the rumors…I can confirm it’s true. When Logan is released on March 3rd it’ll have a post-credits scene. I’m not sure if it’s half way through the credits or at the very end, but I can 100% tell you something will be there."
Neat-o. But what could we expect? I am sure Edward Douglas could spoil this for me, but I'll do my own speculation, thank you sir. Maybe the scene will be Hugh Jackman's final goodbye as he walks off into the distance never to be seen again. Or how about X-23 (Dafne Keen) meets up with a new traveler to set her on the path to becoming wolverine? Perhaps Deadpool could pop his head around a corner and say, "HAH, we lied, here I am and don't worry -- Logan will be in X-Force even if I have to resurrect his cold dead body." Maybe, just Maybe, there will be some secretly filmed scene where Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) is starting to turn into Dark Phoenix to tease the next X-Men movie.
I will just have to wait until March 3rd. to find out, but my anticipation level is high as the critics are almost all praising the movie, and after 63 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes it is sitting at 95%. That, my friends, is very impressive.
Are you guys and gals ready for this epic movie? Will Logan die? What do you think?
