Loki Will Answer Two Of Fans’ Most Asked Questions, Says Tom Hiddleston

I have to be honest, Tom Hiddleston is far and away one of my favorite actors working in the business right now, he just has a screen presence which draws me in and his acting skills are up there with the best of them. Hiddleston’s character of Loki in the MCU died brutally at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, but we also saw a previous version of the character escape with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame.

The next stop for this character and Hiddleston in the MCU is for Loki to get his own Disney + limited series. We already know that Loki will focus on the God of Mischief from Avengers: Endgame, not the ‘prime timeline’ version. We have also been told that the show will involve Loki travelling to parts of Humanities past using the Tesseract, though what he will be doing, is a question we don’t know the answer to yet.

Hiddleston appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this week to promote his new Broadway play Betrayal, but before they even got a chance to talk seriously Hiddleston was asked several questions about the upcoming Loki series. You can of course watch the full interview above, but in all honesty Hiddleston was extremely tight lipped. In fact, he refused to rule out Loki going back in time to kill Hitler as a plot point or even mention time travel even though it’s been confirmed by Marvel. However, he did say that the two questions he has been asked the most since Endgame will be answered in this series. Those being, Is Loki really dead, and what is he doing with that Infinity Stone?

Now, it appears as though that might be interesting, but let’s be honest, Hiddleston hasn’t really said anything here. For a start, we know what is going on with Loki, the version of him from Infinity War is dead, whereas the previous version of him from Endgame is alive. And with regards to what is happening with the Infinity Stone, well, he’s using the Tesseract to transport himself through space and time it seems. I honestly don’t think either of these are very pertinent questions to be posing to the Loki star, however, he probably wouldn’t answer anything else, so this is what we got.

Details about the plot will likely remain under wraps (mostly) until far closer to the release date and as far as we know it hasn’t even started filming yet. What do you think Loki will be doing in his Disney + show? Share your thoughts in the usual spot below if you got them.
