Marvel Netflix is new original series The Punisher has just hit the streaming service, and while response to that has been decidedly mixed, they are still going straight ahead with all their other series. Currently in production in someway or another or shows like Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones.

Their other big series, Luke Cage, has just finished production on its second season, as was revealed by actress Simone Missick, who plays Misty Knight in both Luke Cage and The Defenders. Take a look at the photo below:

While the last few seasons of marvel television on Netflix haven’t been as strong as earlier seasons, the brand still remains strong. Additionally, the first season of Luke Cage was a huge hit, garnering all kinds of praise from critics and fans alike. In many ways, Luke Cage was a hybrid of many genres including blaxploitation and western. Mixed with its fantastic character development, it resulted in a truly unique experience.

While we don’t know whole lot about what the future holds for Luke Cage, one thing we do know is that Danny Rand (aka Iron Fist) will be teaming up with Luke at some point, giving fans there first taste of Heroes for Hire.

Are you excited to see what goes down in the next season of Luke Cage? Let us know in the comments down below!

Luke Cage season two is set to hit Netflix sometime in 2018.

  • Simone’s tatas are very impressive! 😀

Hopefully it’ll be punchier and better written than last season. Too much exposition dialogue.

I think we’re at a point where we can scrap Cage, Jones and Fist and just make a Heroes for Hire show.
