Be prepared for a new breed of superheroes.

With Netflix’s The Defenders, Fox’s The Gifted, FX’s Legion and ABC’s Inhumans, Marvel is not slowing down on bringing its comic book properties on to the small screen.

The anticipated Marvel’s Runaways is set to debut on Hulu today with its 10-episode series to stream until January 9 next year.

The series feature a young group of teens with superpowers and one who is really smart. The team is comprised of Rhenzy Feliz (Alex Wilder), Lyrica Okano (Nico Minoru), Virginia Gardner (Karolina Dean), Ariela Barer (Gertrude Yorkes), Gregg Sulkin (Chase Stein) and Allegra Acosta (Molly Hernandez).

The series also star Annie Wersching (Leslie Dean), Ryan Sands (Geoffrey Wilder), Angel Parker (Catherine Wilder), Ever Carradine (Janet Stein), James Marsters (Victor Stein), Kevin Weisman (Dale Yorkes), Brigid Brannagh (Stacey Yorkes), James Yaegashi (Robert Minoru), Brittany Ishibashi (Tina Minoru) and Kip Pardue (Frank Dean).

Here’s the synopsis of the series:

Every teenager thinks their parents are evil. What if you found out they actually were? Marve’s Runaways is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe–their parents.

LRM had an exclusive interview with two of the actors from the series–Ariela Barer (Gertrude Yorkes) and Allegra Acosta (Molly Hernandez). We had a delightful conversation about their experiences on the set, researching their roles and discovering that they got the part.

Watch the interview below and don’t forget to binge watch the entire series on Hulu today!

    Runaway train never going back
Wrong way on a one way track
Seems like I should be getting somewhere
Somehow I’m neither here nor there
Can you help me remember how to smile
Make it somehow all seem worthwhile
How on earth did I get so jaded
    Life’s mystery seems so faded
I can go where no one else can go
I know what no one else knows
Here I am just drownin’ in the rain
    With…

I’m amazed about how articulated they are, principally Acosta. I was so awkward during teenager days.
