**Be Warned: The Following Is A *SPOILER* Proceed With Caution**
By now we've grown accustomed to the way Marvel's Netflix shows like to flaunt their shared universe-ness. Ever since the release of Daredevil, a tradition has begun where every series that comes out includes an appearance by a character from a previous Marvel series. We saw it when Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple showed up on Jessica Jones; When Carrie-Anne Moss's Jeri Hogarth popped up in Daredevil; And we saw it in Luke Cage when...eh, this article is spoilery enough.
So it should come as no surprise that the tradition will live on in Marvel's The Punisher. The series, which focuses on Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle, the violent vigilante we met in Daredevil: Season 2, is currently filming in my neck of the woods. A new photo reveals which character from another Marvel show is going to pop up in The Punisher.
Take a gander:
Yeah, that's Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Karen Page on Daredevil, filming a scene with Bernthal on the set of The Punisher. This shouldn't be entirely surprising since she was very closely linked to the character during his introductory story arc in Daredevil.
What will be interesting is how things play out from a story perspective. If you'll recall, Karen warned Frank that if he killed Clancy Brown's Ray Schoonover that he'd be on his own after that. He heard that warning, and did it anyway. So the story that finds Karen and Frank aligning themselves again should be an intriguing one to watch.
Marvel's The Punisher is currently filming, with a release date TBA.
