Michael Finch Recruited to Pen ‘Deus Ex’ Video Game Adaptation

It looks like the next phase of human revolution is about to happen.

CBS Films hired “Predators” writer Michael Finch to pen the screenplay for the video game adaptation of “Deus Ex. He will replace Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, who previously worked on the script and Derrickson is now working on Marvel’s “Doctor Strange.”

The film is taking its inspiration from the Square Enix 2011 game “Deus Ex: Human Revolution.” It focuses on Adam Jensen, a security manager at Sarif Industries who was forced to undergo life-saving surgeries to replace his body with advanced prostheses after a terrorist attack.

Roy Lee and Adrian Askarieh are producing the project.

Finch worked the 2010’s screenplay of “Predators” that starred Adrien Brody, Topher Grace and Laurence Fishburne. He also contributed to the story for the upcoming films of “The November Man” and “Agent 47.”

It sounds like it’s going be one awesome shoot-them-up movie.
