Naked Gun: Liam Neeson Says He’s Had Talks About Possible Reboot

I wasn’t sure how to start this article, but then I realized that like a blind man at an orgy, I was going to have to feel things out. If you clicked on this article, intentionally clicked anyway, I will assume you’re more than familiar with the joke above. If you’re lost on where it came from, you might need to go back and watch the Naked Gun movies again.

Liam Neeson says he’s been spoken to by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane for a possible Naked Gun. Neeson mentioned this while speaking with People. You can check out what he had to say below.

“I’ve been approached by Seth McFarlane and Paramount Studios to maybe resurrect the Naked Gun films. It’ll either finish my career or bring it in another direction. I honestly don’t know.”

While no one can replace or top the great Leslie Nielson in this franchise as well as in this genre as a whole, I would like to see this project come to fruition with MacFarlane behind it and Neeson starring. While Neeson is not known for comedic roles he has had them before.

A couple of those roles were, A Million Ways to Die in the West and Ted 2, involved teaming up with MacFarlane.

I think MacFarlane would be one of the better people in Hollywood to head up this project. These sorts of movies need redemption after the writers of Scary Movie nearly killed the genre in the mid-2000s.
