Neeson Joins ‘Ted 2’ Cast

Transient

Liam Neeson must have enjoyed his time on the set of Seth MacFarlane’s A Million Ways To Die In The West. The Hollywood Reporter has announced that the actor has boarded MacFarlane’s next, Ted 2. The first Ted was a massive hit for the writer/director/actor and, while audiences didn’t show much love to A Million Ways, there’s still a lot of buzz around this sequel.

Nothing is known about the plot of the film at this time, but we do know that the cast will include a returning Mark Wahlberg, as well as new faces Morgan Freeman, Amanda Seyfried, and what is sure to be a litany of celebrity cameos. Could it be that Ted gets kidnapped, and Wahlberg’s John Bennett has to enlist the help of a mysterious specialist (Neeson) to track him down? Lord knows with the number of carbon copy films Neeson has been up to lately, it could do him some good to poke fun at his played-out persona.

Transient

Last June marked two years since Ted was released into theaters and began amassing what would become $549.4 million worldwide. The sequel will come out in June as well, of 2015. Think audiences will still turn up in droves with a 3 year gap between the films, and the ho-hum response to A Million Ways To Die In The West? Universal sure hopes so.
