Brand Licensing Europe is going on now: an event that brings together more than 280 leading brand owners to showcase the hottest brands, characters, and images available to license. This, of course, includes everything and anything blockbuster related, often offering our first look at marketing materials for films that don’t yet have official posters, etc.

Perhaps the coolest poster spotted at Brand Licensing Europe is the first interesting promotional artwork we have seen for Shane Black’s The Predator, a sequel to the classic 1987 film Predator.

Though that could also be Black Panther, I see Mr. Predator, and I approve of this poster.

Shane Black (Iron Man 3, The Nice Guys) is directing the film written by himself and Fred Dekker (Star Trek: Enterprise, Robocop 3). The film stars Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Keegan-Michael Key (Keanu), Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us), Jacob Tremblay (Room), Thomas Jane(1922), Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), and Edward James Olmos (Blade Runner 2049).

The Predator is expected to take the horrifying alien into a new hunting ground, the suburbs.

Are you excited for Shane Black’s take on Predator? What do you think of the promotional poster? Let us know in the comment section below!

The Predator hits the big screen on August 3, 2018.
