New ROGUE ONE TV Spot Revealed Classic STAR WARS Actor’s Role!

George Lucas loves Warwick Davis. He loves the most famous dwarf actor in the world so much that he hired the actor to appear four times in previous Star Wars films (he played one character in Return of The Jedi, and three in The Phantom Menace!), and he also put him front-and-center for Willow. When Disney took over the Star Wars franchise, they decided to keep the Davis connection intact.

Davis appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is slated to appear in Star Wars: Episode VIII, and is about to be seen in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. That means that, as of press time, with Episode VIII wrapped, Davis has played six characters in the Star Wars universe.

Davis typically appears under a ton of prosthetics, so nobody would blame you if you didn’t realize how ubiquitous he’s been in that galaxy far, far away. But now we know who he’ll be playing in Rogue One thanks to the release of the film’s fourth TV spot.

If you watched the teaser (which you can do by CLICKING HERE) you may have spotted a small alien creature with a blaster. Davis took to twitter to reveal that that’s him.

Incidentally, this is the first #StarWars character I’ve played who has a blaster,” Davis pointed out in his tweet.

We’ll get to see how much ass Davis gets to kick when Rogue One: A Star Wars Story comes out on December 16.
