Not a reboot. Remake. Or Restart.
Call it a recalibrate.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan have been hired on to write the next “Halloween” movie.
The pair’s writing credits included the last four “Saw” movies, the “Feast” films, “The Collector” and its sequel “The Collection,” and “Piranha 3DD.”
So do expect this next “Halloween” movie to be a bloody gore fest.
Director Rob Zombie was at the helm of the last “Halloween” reboot and its sequel in 2009. Zombie indicated he had moved past directing horror films and no director is attached to this new project.
And a source told THR that it’s a “recalibration.” Not quite sure on whatever that means
One thing for certain, the story must revolve around the legend of Michael Myers.
