Last season, AMC made a controversial decision, cutting to black as Negan lowered his bat over the head of one of the surviving cast members. There were even campaigns for AMC to reveal the victim ahead of the Season 7 release. Sure, that may go against the entire concept of cliffhangers, but try telling that to a rabid fanbase on the internet.
It’s now Comic-Con weekend, and as expected, AMC has released an official trailer. Needless to say, they aren’t revealing who they killed off, but they sure as hell are playing off that expectation, as the first half literally goes through all the existing characters in an overly-dramatic montage.
