Luke Cage will have help from a woman with a bionic arm.
Simone Missick is reportedly got the younger female lead role in the upcoming Netflix’s Marvel series of “Luke Cage.†She will play Misty Knight, a former New York police officer who gets a cool bionic arm from Tony Stark after losing it during a bomb attack. It grants her super strength.
Misty eventually forms a private detective agency, which will help Luke Cage against his foes.
The series will have Mike Colter in the title role as Luke Cage. The veteran actress Alfre Woodard will be the villain as Minetta, along with Theo Rossi as Alvarez/Shades.
Missick had several parts in various television series and short films through the years.
