By now, if you're the kind of person interested in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, then you've likely seen it. If that's the case, you know that Zack Snyder planted a couple of seeds hinting that Darkseid was coming to earth, and that he'd be the inaugural threat that brings the JUSTICE LEAGUE together. But what if he's not alone?
Snyder, in a podcast interview with Empire, gave a very revealing answer that hints at a group of baddies. When asked about the Darkseid clues in BATMAN V SUPERMAN, here's what Snyder had to say:
"Maybe he exists out there in the universe. Maybe he's looking for something. Something that is against life?"
Mentioning something that is "against life" calls to mind the Anti-Life Equation, which could mean that Darkseid is joined in JUSTICE LEAGUE by characters from New Gods, and the inhabitants of Apokolips. That would mean he could be flanked by characters like Desaad, Godfrey, Granny Goodness, and/or others. The Anti-Life Equation is a formula that allows for total control of the souls of all beings in the universe, and it's often seen as the reason Darkseid sends his forces to earth.
