Stan Lee To Pop Up In ‘Avengers: AoU,’ But What About ‘B v S’?

Transient

Just in case you were worried, you can now rest assured: Stan Lee will be making his customary cameo for Marvel’s upcoming epic, The Avengers: Age of Ultron. There had been some doubt that he might miss this one, as he’s been known to do when a Marvel production shoots overseas. But it would appear that this was an easy one for him to do, since both he and the production were in London at the same time.

During an appearance at the London Film and Comic Con, Lee confirmed his participation on the super-powered sequel, and expressed his enjoyment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far:

The movies have been great. We have been so lucky. We’ve got the best directors, the best special effects people and wonderful actors. People that had not been big stars before- like the fellow who plays Thor (Chris Hemsworth) – he’s wonderful! I was with him yesterday – I did my cameo, of course [for Avengers: Age of Ultron].

Bruce Banner himself, Mark Ruffalo, also took to Twitter to thank Lee for joining them:

But then, with tongue firmly placed in cheek, Lee repeated a jokey suggestion he has made before:

“DC could probably make a lot more money with Superman and Batman if they announced that I’d have a cameo in it!”

You heard him, WB/DC! Get on that. The fate of your DC Cinematic Universe depends on it!
