Star Wars: The Last Jedi may still be a solid two-plus months away, but it sounds like tickets for the film will be on sale this coming Monday. The information comes courtesy of Jeremy Conrad on Twitter.
In his video tweet, Conrad states that AMC and Regal Cinemas are programming their systems for the tickets this week. Rest assured that if two of the big theater companies are prepping their system, chances are other as well. So at an unspecified time on Monday, you will be able to purchase your own tickets to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
This date is something that’s already been spoiled for fans in a tweet for Mark Hamill, who told audiences to keep their eyes out for Monday Night Football on October 9th — “for no reason in particular.”
For the time being, you’ll have to take this with a grain of salt. LRM has reached out to its sources for confirmation, and we’ll let you know if something else comes of this. Lucasfilm and Disney have so far made no comment, and it’s not clear whether or not they plan on announcing this later or leaving it as a surprise.
We’ll have to wait and see. Hardcore fans will likely be glued to the internet all day that day. Let’s just hope it pans out in their favor.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
