Stranger Things 2 Final Trailer: It’s Judgment Day In Hawkins

Netflix just released a final trailer for Stranger Things 2, the continuation of the series that set the world on fire last year. Check it out above!

It’s been over a year since we last saw these characters, but they’re back, and things are now darker than ever. The events that happened last season were no fluke, and while Will Byers may be back, he’s seeing some incredibly strange things. However, these visions aren’t just in his imagination. They’re very real, and they will have an unimaginable effect on those around him.

This was another fantastic trailer for Stranger Things 2, and unlike a lot of the other marketing material for the series, it was completely devoid of ‘80s fan service, and completely focused on the story. This was a solid approach, as it shows that there will still be a lot more to this series than the loving nods to a decade long gone. The trailer also shows off some amazing imagery — the visuals are sure taking a step up from last season — and it’ll be incredibly rewarding to see the citizens of Hawkins band together to take on this threat from the Upside Down.

What did you think of this latest trailer? Was it a step up from all the previous marketing material, or are you at the point right now where you don’t want to see anything else? Do you think the trailers work better with or without the ‘80s references? Let us know down below!

Stranger Things 2 hits Netflix on October 27, 2017.
