THE FLASH: Attack On Gorilla City – Extended Trailer, Tom Felton Gets Confused

Unfortunately, as The CW DC shows tend to do from time to time, we are forced to miss out on episodes of The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow this week. Supergirl aired Monday, and unless IMDB really hates me (which it does) we should get Arrow tonight. But, I have no problem waiting an extra week knowing that The Flash will be coming back for a two part series starting on February 20th with “Attack on Gorilla City” and will follow on the 28th with “Attack on Central City.”

Let’s go over some things we know about The Flash, shall we? One, Keith David was signed to voice the sometimes good, sometimes evil, sentient gorilla, Solovar. Two, Gorilla Grodd has not been his typical maniacal self as long as The Flash has been on the air. Finally, The Flash showrunners may be the worst (or best) when it comes to fooling you with a tricky trailer. First they are throwing Easter Eggs of the death of a major speedster in some episodes, behind the scenes footage, and trailers. Also, they would like for you to think that Grodd has taken over Gorilla City, has captured the “good” Wells, and a trap has been set for Team Flash to come to the rescue and get imprisoned themselves. MaybeGrodd is upset about being stranded on Earth-2. Or perhaps he thinks that his “father” (Eobard Thawne) has been killed by The Flash and the Wells he has is an imposter.

All of these are likely scenarios. However, another one is that Solovar has over-powered Grodd, and would like to do a little world domination of his own, thus the title for the episode on the 28th; Attack on Central City. You be the judge. Here is the extended trailer to whet your appetite!

This 2-part event looks promising and I have an observation outside of “Monkey News.” I am really starting to like Malfoy’s character, Julian Albert. So much so that I have decided to stop calling Tom Felton by his Harry Potter name, because he may end up being one of the best actors to come out of all the Harry Potter movies. He is really funny in the show, his Indiana Jones outfit was ridiculous, not to mention his confusion about Planet of the Apes gives Barry a gigantic question mark over his head.

Who is excited about this upcoming 2 week event? I am almost ecstatic about this as I am the upcoming Duet crossover, featuring The Music Meister.
