The Flash Showrunners Already Know What’s In Store For Season 5

While The Flash may not have been at its strongest during last season, this current season of the show so far has brought a whole lot of fun (and a lot less frustration) to the table. At the end of the day, it’s very clear that the showrunners have a lot of love for the source material, and apparently, it even extends to next season.

Professional geek and occasional Flash director Kevin Smith recently took to Twitter to share a key piece of information to fans.

That’s right. The show may still be waist-deep in production for Season 4, but the showrunners are still looking to the future of The Flash — assuming the show actually gets renewed for a fifth season. Though we don’t think fans have much to worry about.

Sure, The Flash may not carry the same ratings as it once did when it started, the current season of the show is still very consistent with the entirety of last season, so unless it completely tanks in the next eight months or so, we think another season is inevitable.

Are you looking forward to seeing what they do next year, or are you still eager to see Barry take on The Thinker this season? Let us know down below!

The Flash airs on The CW on Tuesdays at 8/7c.
