Martin Scorsese fans have been excited for quite a long time. We’ve known about the existence of The Irishman for what must be years, and it made a big splash when it was picked up by Netflix, as opposed to a more traditional studio that would release the flick wide theatrically.

Now, we have a new trailer that shows off the film’s amazing cast, which includes Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Ray Romano, and more! I’m not gonna lie, I still don’t know what the film is technically about, but this looks great!

Below is the official synopsis for The Irishman: 

“Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in Martin Scorsese’s THE IRISHMAN, an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics.”

What I like about this film is that, in spite of its ridiculous three-hour length, it looks utterly entertaining and watchable in the same way that The Wolf of Wall Street was. So I’ll take it!
