Transformers: The Last Knight – Trailer #2 Drops

Fresh off the clips from The Kid’s Choice Awards we got a small tidbit of Canopy, and also a teaser trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight that was not long enough to get a goodfeel of what is going on. This new trailer changes all of that. The trailer is over two minutes, and we see the kids, Marky Mark, and quite a few Autobots and Decepticons. Check out the trailer!

We also wee what appears to be Unicron sinking its mandibles into Earth, and Bumblebee Fighting Optimus Prime. Also seen, is a huge T-Rex robot eating a car (that I am so hoping is Grimlok), and spitting it back out, and a minuature Hunger Games version of Katniss who seems to be the badarse of this movie. Also, we see Hound tearing it up with his arsenal.

My biggest question here is, “Why did Optimus Prime turn evil?”

What if he didn’t. There is a scene where Bumblebee is being worked on, and what if he is being reset to an Autobot. Is it possible that Unicron has come in and using his extraordinaire powers turned all the Transformers evil? Optimus Prime was off world during this time, so what if this new apocalyptic world we see has simply been caused by all the Transformers turning evil. It may take the genius of Marky Mark and the new girl to get Bumblebee around to his senses, and perhaps this is the key to saving the day.

Some are saying that this looks like Michael Bay once again created another kid based show, simply due to what we have seen in the trailers, but trailers can be misleading. We will find out soon enough the plot, who these legendary Knights are, and what the agenda of Optimus Prime is. I am still praying for Rodimus Prime, but that is just the fanboy in me.

Transformers: The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Haddock).”

Transformers: The Last Knight drops June 23, 2017.
