Is Wicket the Ewok in “Star Wars: Episode VII?”

The definite answer is yes. And now Ewoks are celebrating everywhere in the universe.

The announcement was made directly from actor Warwick Davis via video about hisreturn to the franchise since appearing in “Star Wars: Eposide VI – Return of the Jedi.” (Yes, he appeared in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace” as a spectator, but I like to forget about the movie.)

Obviously, he couldn’t contain his excitement either after Star Wars Celebration in Europe.

The new film is currently in production under the direction of J.J. Abrams. Many of the old cast members are back along with new faces. Do expect more rumors and announcements to emerge till Star Wars Celebration in Los Angeles next year.

Now we’ll see if Jar Jar Binks makes an appearance for a death scene in the new film.
