Wonder Woman 2 Filming Summer Next Year?

My Entertainment World has listed Wonder Woman 2 on their site, and the date they have listed for its shooting start is June of 2018.

Check it out below:

Also of note is the synopsis, which mentions Diana facing off against the Soviet Union in the 1980s. Of course, this is something that’s been rumored for some time, but never confirmed. We’ll need to wait and see if this ends up being the case.

As far as the shooting date goes, it’s very plausible. Director Patty Jenkins and DC chief creative officer Geoff Johns have been hard at work on this film’s story ever since the first one came out, so it’s a good bet that they’ll be ready to go by June of 2018.

Additionally, with the movie’s release date set for December of 2019, this gives them a lot of breathing room for reshoots, editing, visual effects, and the works. Given that Wonder Woman is currently the DCEU’s poster child, it’s smart that they give it enough time to guarantee it’s as good as the original.

Wonder Woman 2 hits theaters on December 13, 2019.
