The Salem Witch Trials were a bust. And the witches had won. Or did they?

The witches are back for season two in the WGN’s original series “Salem.” The next season already has been called as the “Witch War” and Lucy Lawless joins the cast as a foreign witch into Salem.

“Salem” had a panel at WonderCon 2015 yesterday in Anaheim to preview the second season to the comic-con audience. In attendance, actors Janet Montgomery and Shane West joined co-creator Adam Simon and Brannon Braga on stage.

Before their event, Latino-Review caught up with actress Montgomery and the producers Simon and Braga behind the curtains. They divulge a little bit more on what to expect in season two.

West was also interviewed at the convention, however, there were some mic problems with the video. His interview will be transcribed separately and published at a later date.

“Salem” season two will be on WGN premiering April 5 at 9 p.m.
