The Granddaddy of them all, Wrestlemania, is WWE's yearly event. Essentially the Super Bowl of Pro Wrestling, it showcases some of the best matches among the top stars the WWE has to offer as well as cameos from various celebrities. Over the years, the WWE has made it a point to house this event in sites fitting its epic feel. With Wrestlemania 34 a year out, where could the WWE be looking to call home for a day?
According to Ryan Satin at Pro Wrestling Sheet, the WWE is soon to announce that Wrestlemania 34 will be held once again in the Superdome in New Orleans. The last time the event was held there was the historic Wrestlemania 30 which saw Daniel Bryan reach the top of the sports entertainment ladder as well as the end of The Undertaker's streak.
It's an interesting choice bringing Wrestlemania back to the Superdome so soon. While it's not unheard of for the WWE to revisit a location, as they're doing this year for Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando, it is a little odd they're going back to New Orleans so soon. They've seemed to have fallen in love with the South East region of the United States for Wrestlemania the past few years. The choice doesn't blow me away but we'll see if the card itself will be something worth remembering.
