Deadpool Goes To Rehab For An Unusual Additction In New Robot Chicken Clip

Breaking the fourth wall, a delicate concept that, when used properly, can help an audience better connect with the character on screen, on the other side of that it can become annoying if used too often or incorrectly. One of the best at it is Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, who has masterfully kept audiences immersed with the act through two films.

However, according to a recent Robot Chicken episode, Deadpool has taken it too far and starts to attend a breaking the fourth wall rehab meetings. As you can see above the video has other habitual offenders including Mr. Robot, House of Cards‘ Francis Underwood, and best in the business at explanatory facial expressions, The Offices‘ Jim Halpert. You can check out the video above.

One would think there are other flaws that Deadpool could try to fix rather than his breaking of the fourth wall, such as the whole murdering people thing, but hey, he has to start somewhere right? Also, Deadpool should appear on Robot Chicken more often.

I need to have myself a Robot Chicken binge day and get caught up, it’s been far too long for me. It would be nice if Disney would let Seth Green and company make another Star Wars parody, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.
