After Jonah Hill’s performance in “Moneyball,” it looks like he wants to return back to dramas again.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hill is in negotiations to join Leonardo DiCaprio in the Martin Scorsese-directed “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

Hill would play Danny Porush, the best friend of the main protagonist Jordan Belfort. He was convinced by Belfort to quit his job as a furniture salesman and enter into the world of stock brokering.

The story is based on the memoirs of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker who participated in a massive securities fraud in the 1990s and served 20 months in prison.

Hill recently starred in the action comedy “21 Jump Street” and was nominated for an Oscar for his supporting performance in “Moneyball.” He will be seen in the sci-fi comedy “The Watch” with Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn.
