US actor Matthew McConaughey gestures whChristopher Nolan must know something about the future as he seeks actor Matthew McConaughey for the lead in the sci-fi film “Instersteller.”

According to Deadline, an offer was made to McConaughey to play a character named Cooper, an apparent lead for the movie. However, no other details are given as Nolan & Co. are very secretive about any future projects.

Despite lack of details, we know it was a project setup in 2006 by Steven Spielberg about the existence of wormholes could be used for time travel. Spielberg signed Jonah Nolan to write the script. However, Spielberg soon left the project, it was an easy match to bring in the Nolan brothers to complete the project.

Emma Thomas and Lynda Obst are also producing the project with Christopher Nolan.

McConaughey was last seen in the male stripper movie “Magic Mike,” in which he earned many praises for his role. A Nolan movie would look good on McConaughey’s resume. So how can he ever say no to Nolan?
