We just got our hands on a new clip, entitled “Don’t Go In The Basement,” from Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. The film will be the fifth entry in the low-budget horror franchise started by Oren Peli in 2009, and it’s set to start scaring up some thrills next Thursday.

The film will be something of a spin-off from the main storyline we’ve seen thus far, though they will be connected. The setting here was first hinted at in a post-credit sequence at the end of Paranormal Activity 4. Of note, the movie has a big Latino element in it, with its focus on a Mexican-American family in Oxnard, CA.

While we’re not allowed to post a review yet, I can tell you that Kellvin and El Mayimbe caught this flick a few weeks back and had a blast.
