While today is a day of utmost importance for Americans, in that it’s the day to get out and vote for the mid-term elections, in the world of film and television, today is Stranger Things Day. It seems like quite a while since any of us have journeyed to the Upside-Down, and the cast and crew are hard at work striving to deliver fans a even stranger third season of the series.
While production on the upcoming season of Netflix’s hit show continues, fans receive a special update from the set. The show released a promotional video for the nostalgia driven holiday on its Twitter account. The video shows several characters from the show announcing the special day including Dustin, Lucas, Mikey, Eleven and Max, you can check out the post below.

So what can you do to celebrate Stranger Things day? Well, re-watching your favorite episodes from seasons one and two of the show would be a start, or partaking in any 80s goodness you have available to you, whether it be film or television. Us fans should be able to return to Hawkins, Indiana sometime next year. The third season is said to take place just short of a year after Season 2.
