A Vague Synopsis For Avengers 4 Has Been Released

With Avengers: Infinity War still fresh in all of our minds, we finally get a bit of news about next year’s fourth Avengers film. Marvel has released an official synopsis for the film, and although it doesn’t give us much to go on, it is the first Avengers 4 news we have received in quite a while.

“A culmination of 22 interconnected films, the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.”

With the title of the film not having been revealed, it makes sense that this release doesn’t tell fans a whole lot about the film. The part of the synopsis about how fragile their reality points to at least some of the events in Avengers: Infinity War being undone, as well as sacrifices pointing to fans losing some of their heroes in the film, for real this time. The film will close out Phase 3 of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe and should prove to be even more of a spectacle than its predecessor, Avengers: Infinity War.

Avengers 4 is set for release on May 3, 2019.
