ABC Cancels Marvel’s Inhumans Series After One Disappointing Season

In a move that is no surprise to anyone, Deadline is reporting that ABC has cancelled Marvel’s Inhumans after only one season. The show kicked off with a disappointing $3.5 million dollars at the box office when they debuted the first and second episode back to back on IMAX two weeks before it’s television premiere. If that weren’t enough there are many negative reviews out there from critics. Things were bad enough with the series that back in January ABC had already taken them off their website.

The idea of the Inhumans had first been brought up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but as it turns out the intergalactic Royal family was not able to sustain it’s own series. That family was lead by their King Black Bolt, played by Anson Mount, alongside Medusa played by Serinda Swan, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Ken Leung as Karnak and Mike Moh as Triton.

The series had been co-produced by both Marvel Television and ABC. It’s executive producers were Scott Buck, and Jeph Loeb, and Jim Chory. Buck was also the show runner for the series.

I honestly did not even know this series was still around. From the very beginning it was very bland and overall hard to watch. Are you going to miss the Inhumans? Let us know in the comments section below!
