Aquaman Poster Hits, New Trailer Teased For Tomorrow?

This December will mark an important month for the DC Extended Universe. After crapping out with Justice League, they quickly had to rethink their trajectory on the entire franchise going forward, which resulted in a massive change in the leadership. However, as it stood, they still had one more film being produced under the Geoff Johns regime: Aquaman — and ironically it was the only film to be created from scratch under his watch.

So yeah, there’s a bit of pressure. Should this one crash and burn, it’ll put even more doubt in the heads of the already-reactionary Warner Bros. We got a first trailer at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, and now, with New York Comic Con underway, it looks like they saw fit to drop a poster.

Check it out below:

The poster shows of Aquaman wielding his three-pointed trident in what appears to be his trademark orange and green suit. And yes, at the footage we saw at San Diego Comic-Con, he was indeed wearing the classic suit, though this is the first official revelation to the general public.

Finally, in the caption from Momoa, he teases “something exciting” coming tomorrow. Given that the film is only a couple months from its release, you don’t need to be a brain surgeon to guess it’s likely another trailer. We’ll take it!
