I have a problem. While I may write about big Hollywood movies practically every day, I’m also an avid YouTube fan. From stupid little skits to the horror side of things, there is never a shortage of things to watch. Pretty much every day of the week, my wife has to suffer through a handful of new videos I’ve stumbled across throughout the day. Another thing I love to watch are mashups between properties, and as of late, trailer mashups.
I’ve already written several pieces on this site where I show off some fan’s vision of what a Captain America trailer would feel like with the music and style of Mission: Impossible. As we all know, Marvel Studios recently released their first trailer for next year’s big opus, Avengers: Endgame, which will finally close out the story started in Avengers: Infinity War. Of course, this film was not immune to such treatment, and YouTuber Mr. Kresphus went on to edit Logan-Style.

The trailer is set to Johnny Cash’s cover of the song “Hurt.” With its somber tone, that new trailer for Endgame fits like a glove. Around the middle of the trailer, due to the lack of footage, the editor does cut to shots from older films, but on the whole, I think it works.
What do you think? Does it capture the essence of what you think the film will ultimately be? Let us know your thoughts down below!
