Avengers: Infinity War is going to be epic. We don’t think we’re breaking any new information to you by saying that. After all, this is the culmination of the entire universe up to this point. six years after being introduced to the big bad Thanos, we’re now seeing him take on our heroes.

While we’ve seen a full trailer for the impending film, we have yet to have a substantive synopsis. Now, in a new preview, Disney has shared an all-new synopsis for the film, and as expected, it takes a moment to celebrate the foundation that’s been laid for the film.

Check out the synopsis for Avengers: Infinity War below:

“An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the Universe.”

While this synopsis gives us no real new information, it is pretty nice to see them actual write some copy that brings together all the different aspects of the story we know will be happening.
