Avengers: Infinity War Trailer…In Stop Motion!

Oh Internet, you never cease to amaze us. With the recent release of the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War, it has been given one of the many internet treatments, this time its a stop motion version of the trailer.

Using action figures  in the style of Robot Chicken, the stop-motion version follows the actual real life trailer shot for shot.

I always enjoy homages such as this, it really shows the dedication of the fanbase to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As Thanos said in the trailer, “This, does put a smile on my face.” While not all of it is great, fan made videos found on YouTube can be very cool, and this is a good example.

Of course, it certainly helps that Avengers: Infinity War is a film I’m thrilled to see. What I am excited about is the interactions of characters who haven’t met before. We got a little taste of it at the end of the trailer with Thor and the Guardians, but so many more possibilities remain. Tony Stark and Doctor Strange should be an interesting one, along with Black Widow and Gamora. I have a feeling this film may be one of the best times I have had in a theater, but you never know.

This film is the next big thing on most nerds lists, with the wait for Star Wars: The Last Jedi nearly over (YES!), our attention will turn fully to the Marvel side with Black Panther in February, and then Avengers: Infinity War in May.
