Avengers: Russos Share Infinity War Parody Poster That Pays Homage To Logan

The latest trailer for Avengers: Infinity War had a good number of memorable scenes in it. There was a hilarious moment between Star-Lord and Iron Man, a compelling final shot between Thanos and Cap, but perhaps the most intriguing revolved around what looked like a flashback with Thanos and Gamora.

There wasn’t a lot, but there was a shot where we saw Thanos’ gigantic hand next to Gamora’s tiny hand, and there was another with Thanos walking alongside a young Gamora, while several of Thanos’ guards held off Gamora’s people.

Because fans are fans, it didn’t take long for one in particular, Jean Carlo Malespín Ugalde (at least he claims responsibility), and he created a wonderful image that pays homage to the iconic Logan poster. The Russo Brothers even went so far as to tease it on their Facebook page.

What do you think of this image? More importantly, what do you think we’ll learn about Thanos and Gamora through that flashback? Marvel Studios has done a great job at creating sympathetic villains for the majority of this phase, so perhaps the same can be done with Thanos. After all, we have heard that regardless of the Avengers being the namesake of this franchise, that Thanos will be the lead of thsi film.

Will we grow to sympathize with the purple giant? Let us know your thoughts down below!
