Ready for more Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) and Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn)? That is, are you ready for the return of Better Call Saul when the fourth season premieres on August 6, 2018 on AMC?

At the ATX Television Festival, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and star Bob Odenkirk hosted a closing-night screening of Breaking Bad’s Season 2 episode titled “Better Call Saul,” a title that would later evolve into the current AMC spinoff series.

Entertainment Weekly learned a few new things about Season 4 of Better Call Saul while moderating  the event, including Gilligan confirming the death of Chuck (Michael McKean) in the final shot of the last season will reverberate throughout the new season. Not only that, but we can expect to see the character again! Most likely in flashback form… unless he haunts Jimmy like Henry Morgan always did Dexter…

Odenkirk, meanwhile, shared that the Jimmy and Kim relationship will be particularly dramatic this season:

“If you’re intrigued by the Jimmy-Kim relationship, this next season is gonna knock you out. There are scenes between Jimmy and Kim that are on another level that you haven’t seen on this show. They’re outside of character that a real couple needs to have… and it makes his life in Breaking Bad all the more tragic because she’s not in his life.”

What will happen to Kim before the events of Breaking Bad? Will she even survive, or just leave down, destroying Jimmy?
