Some most excellent news as Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine have been cast in the long-awaited Bill and Ted Face the Music. The two will play the daughters of the franchise’s dimwitted, but loveable heroes, Bill and Ted.
Weaving joins the film as the daughter of Bill S. Preston played by Alen Winter with Brigette Lundy-Paine taking on the role of the offspring of Keanu Reeves’ Ted “Theodore” Logan. Scott Kroopf, a producer on the film had the following to say about the casting move in a statement.
“When we saw Samara and Brigette together, it was like deja vu. It was exactly the way we felt when we first saw Keanu and Alex. We are so thrilled to have this funny and unique pair join the Bill and Ted team!”

This is a film I never thought would get made, I’m happy it is, I just never thought it would actually happen. As most of you know the rumors of the film floated around unofficially for some time. The moment I knew I was in on the film was when I heard it would be an sequel, and not a reboot, and that Reeves and Winters were down to play middled Ages Bill and Ted.
Bill & Ted Face the Music hits theaters on Aug. 21, 2020.
