Crunchyroll just announced that voice actors and creative staff from To Your Eternity and  Black Clover will be heading to New Crunchy City later this summer.

Hello anime fans! If you have been following the news here on LRM Online, you may have heard about this year’s Virtual Crunchyroll Expo (V-CRX). For those who have not, V-CRX is Crunchyroll’s annual event that celebrates the best and brightest in Japanese animation. The event will take place virtually from August 5–7. And did I mention it is free? All you have to do is register for a free ticket online at expo.crunchyroll.com.

So far, V-CRX 2021 has announced cast and talent from popular anime such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, and many more! Not to mention a lineup of musical guests, artists, and the Crunchyroll Hime Cosplay Cup.

Anyways, this is not a recap episode. On to the full lineup of guests just announced.

Black Clover

First, Ayataka Tanemura, a Director for Black Clover will be at the event. His works also include Naruto Shippuden and Twin Star Exorcists.

Joining Tanemura is Gakuto Kajiwara, the voice of Asta from Black Clover. Kajiwara is also known for his work as Shinra Kusakabe from Fire Force, Shun Kuribayashi from Rent-A-Girlfriend, and Ake from The Rising of the Shield Hero. Incredibly cool to have the voice of Asta himself at V-CRX this year!

To Your Eternity

Reiji Kawashima, the voice of Fushi from To Your Eternity, will be in attendance at V-CRX. He is also known for his work on Shadow House and Ekimemo! -Station Memories!

Joining Kawashima is Takeshi Takadera, sound director for To Your Eternity. With over 25 years of experience in the Japanese anime industry, some of his biggest projects, aside from To Your Eternity, include Laid-Back Camp, Yowamushi Pedal, and My Senpai is Annoying.

If you have not checked out To Your Eternity yet, I highly recommend it. This anime is seemingly slipping under the radar this year with all the great anime currently airing. Here is a brief synopsis:

In the beginning, an “orb” is cast unto Earth. “It” can do two things: change into the form of the thing that stimulates “it”; and come back to life after death. “It” morphs from orb to rock, then to wolf, and finally to boy, but roams about like a newborn who knows nothing. As a boy, “it” becomes Fushi. Through encounters with human kindness, Fushi not only gains survival skills, but grows as a “person”. But his journey is darkened by the inexplicable and destructive enemy Nokker, as well as cruel partings with the people he loves.

Crunchyroll will also be announcing some new V-CRX guests at the Crunchyroll industry panel at Anime Expo Lite on Saturday, July 3 at 12:15 PM PDT, so keep an eye for that and on LRM Online to hear the latest.

What do you guys think about the lineup so far? Are you planning on checking out V-CRX this year? Let us know in the comments below!
