Bob Odenkirk Set To Star In And Produce Action-Thriller From John Wick Producers

Over the past few years, Bob Odenkirk has been proving to audiences that he can lead a tense and dramatic series with the AMC show Better Call Saul, but would he be able to convince audiences that he kick ass alongside the likes of Keanu Reeves and Liam Neeson? Well, we may soon find out.

According to a report from Deadline, Odenkirk is set to team with STXfilms and John Wick producers to develop, produce, and star in the action-thriller called Nobody.

The outlet describes the film as follows:

“The story follows a man who comes to the defense of a woman being harassed by thugs, only to learn later that one of the men he put in the hospital is the brother of a drug kingpin, now out for vengeance.”

While it’s hard for me to imagine Jimmy McGill actually putting a thud in the hospital, we’re sure that Odenkirk would put on the necessary physique to make it possible. Additionally, while his character does take out a dude, according to the report, it does sound like his character is being pitched as more of an everyman.

On board to write the script is John Wick writer Derek Kolstad.

What do you think of the premise behind Nobody? Do you think Odenkirk has what it takes to bring the character in this film to life? Let us know your thoughts down below!
