Brightburn Final Trailer Is Terrifying As HELL!!

Get ready for some high-quality superhero scares! Ever wondered what would happen if Superman went bad? Yeah, a lot of people had, and while there have been some films chronicling that very deal, none have really been executed as a horror movie. If this sounds like something you’ve been waiting for your entire life, then wait no longer, because that s**t’s about to hit this week!

In anticipation of this, Sony Pictures has released a new trailer, which actually almost plays more like an extended series of scenes. In addition to Superman, I can also see notes of Akira. Yeah, it may be a shallow interpretation because of the red cape, but the imagery is unmistakably similar. All I can tell you is that this movie will have me shaking my head the entire time, saying, “nope, nope, nope.”

Between all the deaths and screams, this one looks to be sadistic as hell.

Below is the official synopsis for Brightburn:

“What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.”
