Sicario: Day of the Soldado: Bruno Bichir and Elijah Rodriguez on Their Characters and Benicio Del Toro

Benicio Del Toro made his mark in Sicario: Day of the Soldado.

Most of the cast returns into this sequel with an escalating drug war on the U.S.-Mexico border. Federal agent Matt Graver recruits Alejandro for a mission to start a war with drug cartels, but the plan goes sideways after a kidnapping of a teenage girl.

The film stars Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, Isabela Moner, Jeffery Donovan and Catherine Keener. It is directed by Stefano Sollima with the story written by Taylor Sheridan.

LRM Online sat down with Bruno Bichir and Elijah Rodriguez. They both played important supporting characters to Alejandro as we discussed their roles.

Sicario: Day of the Soldado is out on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download today.
