Captain Marvel Teases Its Release In 100 Days With New Poster

This year alone, we’ve had three films hit from Marvel Studios, and all of them were incredibly well-received by both critics and fans alike, with even their worst performer — Ant-Man and the Wasp — breaking $620 million at the box office (clearly, it was no Venom). But our eyes are already ahead of us, and in the near future, just arm’s length away is none other than Captain Marvel.

Not only is she the first female superhero to lead her own film by herself, but she’s also probably going to be the strongest thing to hit the MCU by a pretty wide margin. And if you’re replacing good ol’ Steve Rogers as the potential face of the MCU, it makes sense that the studio would be pushing this one hard. Just 100 days away from its release, they are now teasing us with a new motion poster, announcing how close it is.

Below is the official synopsis for Captain Marvel:

“Set in 1995, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.”

Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8, 2019.
