Check Out A New Image Of Tom Hardy As Al Capone In Josh Trank’s Fonzo

Lately, if you hear the name Tom Hardy, there’s a good chance you will hear the name Venom is the same sentence. While Hardy taking on this famous comic book role will be the focus of attention for the next few months the actor will also be playing the role of who is probably the most famous gangster of all time, Al Capone. In a film by director Josh Trank  (who was at one time rumored to be bringing us a Boba Fett film) titled Fonzo, Hardy will play the role of the famous Chicago mobster. Trank released a new image of Hardy in character, you can check it out below.

As we all know, Hardy can disappear into a character and this appears to be one of those roles that he can get lost in. Hardy should absolutely nail this role, and I fully expect him to do so. The film will chronicle Capone’s life after serving a ten-year prison sentence, when he first started suffering from dementia.

Fonzo was written and directed by Josh Trank, and along with Tom Hardy will star Linda Cardellini and Noel Fisher. Also appearing are Matt Dillon and Kyle MacLachlan.
