Owen Wilson and Ed Helms are two figures that have found great success in the area of R-rated raunchy comedies, with films like Wedding CrashersThe HangoverHall Pass, and We’re The Millers on their combined resumés. Now they’re set to combine their formidable comedic forces on Bastards, a film that will serve as the feature directorial debut of The Hangover cinematographer Lawrence Sher and was written by rising star Justin Malen (Office Christmas Party, Baywatch).

You can check out the brand-spanking new Bastards trailer right here:

The premise, about a couple of brothers on a road trip to find their biological father, is simple and effective. The cast of supporting players, which includes J.K. Simmons, Katt Williams, Ving Rhames, and Glenn Close, is promising. In short, Bastards looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Bastards will arrive at a theater near you on January 27.
