At first when I heard about the Men In Black “reboot,” I was like “ah, hell nah.” No Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones (or even Josh Brolin as Tommy Lee Jones)? Count me out.
Then, something magical happened. Thor: Ragnarok’s Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson were cast as our new MIB Agents. Then, Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjani (Silicon Valley, The Big Sick), and Rafe Spall (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) were cast, only sweetening the pot. Later Emma Thomson was added to reprise her role as Agent O from Men In Black 3, and we learned Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Fallout standout Rebecca Ferguson joined the film in what is likely a villain role. Lovely.

Today, Chris Hemsworth shared a photo of himself and Thompson on the set of the new Men In Black film, both dressed to be the first, last, and only line of defense against the scum of the universe.

Now, that’s a hot photo! You’re off to a good start Instagraming MIB, Hemsworth.
Hemsworth of course included the hashtag #revengers4life in reference to the “team” he puts together in Ragnarok… that included Thompson as Valkyrie.
Straight Outta Compton filmmaker F. Gary Gray is at the helm this go around, from a screenplay by Iron Man writers Matt Holloway and Art Marcum.
And you only have to wait until Trump’s next birthday to enjoy it (I know this because I have a friend with the same birthday), with the film dropping Jun 14, 2019.
