So, Harry Potter, Hulk, Alfred, and Lex Luthor walk into a bar…

You may recall that Now You See Me snuck into theaters in 2013 and made off with a ton of cash. You may also be keenly aware that sequel is on the way. You may even know that most of the original cast is set to return. But now, thanks to Michael Caine, we know of a new cast member that brings quite a magical pedigree with him.

Caine made the revelation in an interview with Hey U Guys. When asked about the Now You See Me sequel, the British thesp had this to say:

“There’s a sequel to Now You See Me and we’re shooting in London. I shoot in December, the whole of December in London, and my son is Harry Potter. I thought it’d be funny, me and Daniel Radcliffe as father and son.”

Kind of sounds like it was his idea, doesn’t it? I suppose if you’re Michael Caine, you can get away with making such suggestions.

Radcliffe will be joining Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo, and Woody Harrelson. The sequel is set to be released on June 10, 2016. The film will be written by Ed Solomon, who co-wrote the first film and will be joined by Pete Chiarelli this time.
