DC Universe’s Harley Quinn Star Shares First Look At Joker

How many ways can one Clown Prince of Crime be reinterpreted? The answer is infinitely. The character may have been around for decades, but there is seemingly no way to get fans unexcited to see how a new group of people will bring him to life next. Most recently, we’ve seen bits and pieces of Joaquin Phoenix’s take in live-action form, as well as one on the TV show Gotham, but we can’t forget this character is also bound for the new DC Universe animated show Harley Quinn.

We already know that actor Alan Tudyk is set to play Joker, but it’s always a big question of just how the character will ultimately look. Plus, in every animated form, it’s hard not to at least mildly compare him to Mark Hamill’s lauded interpretation. While that’s still up in the air, star of the show Kaley Cuoco recently took to Instagram to show off our first look.

Looks pretty clean and straightforward to me. It’s unclear just how finished that shot is. At this ADR stage, it’s likely pretty rough and full of storyboards and animatics, but it’s at least something. Plus, it at least shows us we’ll be getting the old-school Harley look.

Additionally, if you scroll through the other two photos, you’ll see she’ll be changing up her look throughout the show. So at some point, it’s possible your favorite look of hers will make it to the small screen. But what do you think of the Joker? Let us know down below!
